The report stated that since Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced a policy of isolating Pakistan in 2016, Islamabad has continued to strengthen ties with key countries including the United States, China, Iran, and Saudi Arabia, enhancing its role as an influential regional player.
According to the report, Pakistan gained diplomatic support and international attention during the 2025 tensions with India, while the global community did not accept New Delhi’s allegations regarding the Pahalgam incident without evidence.
The report further noted that Pakistan’s strategic partnership with China has reshaped regional dynamics, while improving relations with Bangladesh have expanded Islamabad’s diplomatic reach in South Asia.
Arab media also highlighted Pakistan’s growing importance as a security and strategic partner for Gulf nations. In contrast, the report suggested that some of India’s domestic policies have negatively affected its international image.
Additionally, Pakistan has attracted increased interest from Washington through its diplomatic initiatives, investment opportunities, and mineral resources. The report added that former US President Donald Trump claimed credit for facilitating multiple ceasefires between Pakistan and India, a claim repeatedly rejected by New Delhi, creating differences between the two countries on the issue.
