The visiting dignitary was received upon arrival by Admiral Ashraf. During the meeting, both leaders discussed matters of mutual professional interest, the evolving regional security landscape, and opportunities to further strengthen bilateral defence cooperation. The Naval Chief emphasized Pakistan Navy’s commitment to regional maritime peace and stability through its various initiatives.
Air Chief Marshal Hasan Mahmood Khan lauded the high professional standards of the Pakistan Navy and expressed his intent to enhance collaboration between the armed forces of the two brotherly nations. Both leaders agreed on the importance of increasing high-level exchanges and conducting joint training exercises to foster greater synergy.
The visit underscores the deepening defence ties between Pakistan and Bangladesh, following Admiral Naveed Ashraf’s significant visit to Dhaka in late 2025.
