Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab speaking about reports concerning Bilawal Bhutto ZardariMurtaza Wahab rejects reports about Bilawal Bhutto’s alleged wedding

Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab has dismissed social media reports claiming that PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari is engaged or planning to marry, describing the reports as incorrect and unfounded.

Wahab rejected the claims in a post on X on Saturday, saying reports about Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s engagement or wedding had no basis.

The clarification came after social media posts claimed that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) chairman was preparing to marry into a prominent Austrian royal family in Vienna.

The reports also alleged that President Asif Ali Zardari had travelled to Austria with other family members to discuss the proposed marriage and finalise a date.

Some posts further claimed that Bilawal’s wedding could take place towards the end of this year and that his alleged fiancée was from Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein.

However, no evidence was presented to substantiate the claims, and Wahab’s statement directly rejected reports of an engagement or wedding.

Liechtenstein is a small sovereign state in western Europe, located between Switzerland and Austria. Vaduz serves as its political and administrative centre.
