KALAT, BALOCHISTAN — On 27 December 2025, Pakistan’s security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Kalat District following reports of the presence of terrorists affiliated with the Indian proxy group, Fitna al Hindustan. During the operation, security forces engaged the terrorists’ hideout, resulting in a fierce exchange of fire. Four terrorists, reportedly sponsored by India, were killed, while weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the site.
The eliminated militants were actively involved in numerous terrorist activities across the region. Security forces are continuing sanitization operations to neutralize any remaining threats in the area.
This operation forms part of Pakistan’s ongoing counter-terrorism campaign under the vision “Azm-e-Istehkam”, approved by the Federal Apex Committee on the National Action Plan. Authorities reaffirmed their commitment to eradicating foreign-sponsored and supported terrorism from the country.
