Deputy Prime Minister Muhammad Ishaq Dar visited the shrine of Hazrat Ali Hujwiri, widely known as Data Ganj Bakhsh, in Lahore on Saturday where he offered Fateha and prayed for the country’s security, prosperity, and unity among the Muslim Ummah.

Upon his arrival, the Deputy Prime Minister was received by Secretary Auqaf Dr. Ehsan Bhutta and Data Darbar Administrator Muhammad Ali Khan.
During the visit, Ishaq Dar chaired a meeting to review ongoing development projects and arrangements related to the ghusl ceremony at the shrine complex.
The meeting was attended by Senior Member Board of Revenue Nabeel Javed, Secretary Auqaf Dr. Ehsan Bhutta, Administrator Data Darbar Muhammad Ali Khan and other senior officials.
Secretary Auqaf Dr. Ehsan Bhutta briefed the Deputy Prime Minister on development initiatives, renovation projects and administrative measures aimed at improving facilities for pilgrims and visitors at the shrine.
Ishaq Dar appreciated the ongoing beautification and development work at the shrine and directed authorities to further enhance facilities for devotees, particularly by ensuring effective arrangements during the ghusl ceremony.
He emphasized that providing quality services and convenience to visitors at the shrine remained a priority and instructed officials to ensure efficient and coordinated implementation of all related measures.
