PAF Academy Risalpur Holds Graduation Ceremony for Multiple Courses
RISALPUR: A grand graduation ceremony was held at PAF Academy Asghar Khan on April 14, 2026, marking the successful completion of training for multiple courses of the Pakistan Air Force.

The event was attended by Chief of the Naval Staff Naveed Ashraf as the chief guest, who was received by Air Officer Commanding Shahryar Khan. Chief of the Air Staff Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu was also present on the occasion.
The ceremony marked the graduation of the 152nd GD(P), 98th Engineering, 109th Air Defence (Alpha & Bravo), 28th Admin & Special Duties (Alpha & Bravo), 11th Logistics (Alpha), and 135th Combat Support courses.
Addressing the graduating cadets, Admiral Naveed Ashraf congratulated them on completing their rigorous training and praised the academy for producing disciplined and professional officers. He expressed confidence that the graduates would uphold the Pakistan Air Force’s tradition of excellence and its vision of being “Second to None.”
He highlighted the force’s performance during Marka-e-Haq May 2025, attributing success to modernisation, advanced technologies, and leadership. He also stressed the importance of preparedness in emerging domains such as cyber, space, and electronic warfare.
The chief guest emphasised inter-services coordination, noting that the Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Air Force continue to enhance capabilities through modern platforms to safeguard national interests.
A total of 113 aviation cadets graduated, with several receiving awards for outstanding performance. Avn Cdt Squadron Under Officer Nad-e-Ali was awarded the Chief of the Defence Forces Trophy for overall excellence in general service training.
Avn Cdt Navaira Shahzad and Avn Cdt Muhammad Abdullah Ejaz received the Chief of the Air Staff Trophies for best performance in Engineering and Air Defence courses, respectively. Avn Cdt Faran Javed secured the top position in the Combat Support course.
Additionally, Avn Cdt Wing Under Officer Basit Aliyan Siddiqui and Avn Cdt Salman Saeed were awarded the prestigious Swords of Honour for outstanding performance in their respective training institutions.
The ceremony was attended by senior military officials, distinguished guests, and families of the graduating cadets. It concluded with a spectacular flypast by PAF fighter aircraft, including the JF-17 Thunder and F-16 Fighting Falcon, followed by an aerobatic display by the Sherdils formation team.
