K-Electric has successfully completed its scheduled annual maintenance work at the Valika Grid Station, restoring electricity supply to all feeders of the Hub Pumping Station, officials confirmed on Friday.

Following the restoration of power, the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC) said that water supply across the city has returned to normal operations.
A KW&SC spokesperson stated that the temporary shutdown had been carried out at the formal request of K-Electric to facilitate routine maintenance work at the grid station. With the maintenance now completed, both power and water supply systems are functioning as usual.
Authorities assured residents that no further disruptions are expected at this stage.
