The Portuguese star, who had been sidelined for a month, missed recent league fixtures and international friendlies but made an immediate impact in his comeback match.
Al Najma shocked the hosts by taking the lead just before halftime through Rakan Al Tulayhi. However, Al Nassr quickly turned the game around with goals from Abdullah Al Hamdan and Sadio Mane in stoppage time of the first half.
The visitors briefly equalised early in the second half via Felippe Cardoso, but Ronaldo restored Al Nassr’s advantage with a penalty in the 56th minute. He then added his second goal in the 73rd minute, showcasing his trademark finishing. Mane wrapped up the victory with a late goal in stoppage time.
The win marked Al Nassr’s 13th consecutive league triumph, keeping them firmly at the top of the table with 70 points, six ahead of Al Hilal.
