Security forces rescued 11 police personnel who militants abducted during an attack on a police checkpost in Balochistan’s Ziarat district. A joint operation is continuing to recover 15 officers who remain missing. According to the Ziarat Superintendent of Police (SP), heavily armed militants attacked the police checkpost in the Kach Mangi Phase III area. The attackers triggered a fierce gun battle before they abducted several police personnel. Security forces have intensified search and clearance operations.
