Rawalpindi, 11 December 2025 – Pakistan and China are carrying out a two-week joint counterterrorism exercise, Warrior-IX, from 28 November to 14 December 2025, aimed at strengthening military cooperation and operational coordination between the two countries.

The Distinguished Visitors Day (DVD) ceremony was held at the National Counter Terrorism Center (NCTC) in Pabbi on Thursday. His Excellency Mr. Jiang Zaidong, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, attended as the Chief Guest, accompanied by senior Chinese officials. The Chief of General Staff of the Pakistan Army was the Guest of Honour.
During the visit, the dignitaries were briefed on the objectives, scope, and conduct of the exercise. They observed counterterrorism drills and commended the professionalism, operational expertise, and high morale of the troops from both nations.
Officials said the exercise underscores the strong defence partnership between Pakistan and China and demonstrates the armed forces’ commitment to joint efforts for peace and stability in the region.
