Pakistan and several Muslim-Arab nations have warned that Israel’s repeated violations of the Gaza ceasefire are endangering regional peace and stability, following deadly airstrikes that killed and injured hundreds of Palestinians.

In a joint statement, Pakistan’s Foreign Office said Pakistan, Egypt, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Türkiye, Saudi Arabia and Qatar — founding members of US President Donald Trump’s Board of Peace — strongly condemned Israel’s continued breaches of the truce, which have resulted in more than a thousand Palestinian casualties.
Israel carried out some of its deadliest strikes since the October ceasefire on Saturday, killing over 30 people, including three young girls from the same family. The attacks targeted homes, tents and a police station across Gaza.
Hamas said Israel had violated the ceasefire, though it did not confirm whether any of its members or facilities were hit. The group continues to control nearly half of Gaza, where almost all of the enclave’s more than two million residents are living in makeshift shelters and damaged buildings.
“These actions risk escalating tensions and undermining efforts aimed at consolidating calm and restoring stability,” the Foreign Office said.
The statement noted that the violations come at a critical time when regional and international stakeholders are working to advance the second phase of President Trump’s peace plan and implement United Nations Security Council Resolution 2803.
The foreign ministers said the repeated breaches pose a direct threat to the political process and are obstructing efforts to create conditions for a more stable phase in Gaza, both in security and humanitarian terms. They stressed the need for full commitment to ensuring the success of the second phase of the peace initiative.
The ministers urged all parties to exercise maximum restraint, uphold their responsibilities, preserve the ceasefire and avoid steps that could derail ongoing efforts. They also called for creating conditions conducive to early recovery and reconstruction in Gaza.
The statement reaffirmed support for a just and lasting peace based on the Palestinian right to self-determination and statehood, in accordance with international law, relevant UN Security Council resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.
