According to Mandi Administrator Tariq Tanoli, the market has witnessed a steady influx of livestock for the 27th consecutive day, with traders from across the country bringing in cows, bulls, goats and camels to meet rising demand.
Regular consignments from multiple districts continue to arrive, while public interest has surged, with large crowds visiting the market not only for purchasing animals but also for recreational outings.
To enhance the festive atmosphere, organisers have arranged a special weekend Qawwali event at the food street. Renowned performer Akbar Khamiso Khan is scheduled to headline the evening, following strong attendance at previous sessions. Authorities expect thousands of visitors to attend the event over the weekend.
The market administration has also introduced online ticketing facilities, advising visitors to obtain entry passes through the designated platform. On-site ticketing services remain available at parking area counters to facilitate smooth access for attendees.
With momentum building steadily, officials anticipate further increases in both livestock arrivals and visitor turnout in the days leading up to Eid.
