Manager Unai Emery guided Villa to a dominant victory in Istanbul as stunning goals from Youri Tielemans and Emiliano Buendia set the tone before Morgan Rogers sealed the result in the second half.
Tielemans opened the scoring in the 41st minute with a powerful volley after meeting a precise cross from Rogers. Moments before halftime, Buendia doubled Villa’s lead with a superb curling strike into the far corner.
Rogers completed the scoring in the 58th minute, sliding home from close range to put the result beyond doubt and spark celebrations among Villa supporters.
The victory ended Villa’s long trophy drought since the 1996 League Cup and secured their first major European title in 44 years, following their historic European Cup success in 1982.
Emery also extended his remarkable record in the competition, claiming his fifth Europa League title after previous triumphs with Sevilla FC and Villarreal CF.
The achievement caps a remarkable turnaround for Villa, who also secured qualification for next season’s Champions League after a strong finish to their campaign.
