New evidence has emerged in the mysterious death of young trader Mir Raza, with investigators reportedly finding traces of acid in his body and on his clothing.

Sources said Mir Raza’s lungs were severely affected by acid. Traces of the substance were also reportedly found on his shirt. Investigators also detected sweat believed to belong to another person on the shirt.

Evidence indicating acid exposure was also found on Mir Raza’s hands and feet, according to sources. The findings have prompted investigators to widen their probe into the circumstances surrounding his death.

Police have sealed a guest house near the incident site after declaring it suspicious. Six employees working at the guest house have been taken into custody for questioning.

So far, authorities have detained 21 people in connection with the case. The detainees include Mir Raza’s friends and business partners. Police have also recorded their statements as part of the investigation.

Meanwhile, the Sindh government has decided to establish a judicial commission to investigate the circumstances surrounding Mir Raza’s death. However, his parents have refused to accept the proposed commission.

The latest developments come as investigators continue to examine forensic evidence and determine how Mir Raza sustained the injuries and chemical exposure reportedly found during the investigation.
