NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang said robotics could become South Korea’s next major growth sector.

He made the remarks on Friday after arriving at Gimpo Airport from Taiwan.
During his visit, Huang plans to meet executives from Hyundai, LG, SK Group, Samsung and Naver.
According to Huang, South Korea offers strong opportunities across several industries. However, he believes robotics stands out as the next major area for growth.

Huang said NVIDIA will work closely with South Korean companies in robotics and artificial intelligence.
He noted that South Korea is one of the world’s leading manufacturing hubs. Therefore, it offers an ideal environment for advanced robotics solutions.
Furthermore, NVIDIA aims to apply its physical AI technologies to industrial operations. These technologies can help companies improve efficiency and productivity.
Semiconductor Industry Offers New Opportunities
Huang also highlighted opportunities in semiconductor manufacturing.
According to him, chip production will become more automated in the coming years. In addition, artificial intelligence will play a larger role in factory operations.
As a result, NVIDIA sees significant potential for partnerships with South Korean semiconductor companies.
Moreover, South Korea remains home to some of the world’s largest chipmakers. This makes the country an important market for AI-driven manufacturing technologies.

When reporters asked whether he had brought gifts to Korea, Huang responded with a smile.
“I brought a lot of business for Korea,” he said.
He also suggested that more announcements could follow during his visit.
