The Pakistan Navy has reaffirmed its operational readiness and war-fighting capability through a successful live weapon firing exercise conducted in the North Arabian Sea.

According to a statement issued on Sunday, a Pakistan Navy ship carried out a Live Weapon Firing (LWF) of the FM-90(N) Extended Range surface-to-air missile, successfully engaging highly manoeuvrable aerial targets. The exercise demonstrated the Navy’s combat preparedness and its ability to counter aerial threats in a maritime environment.
Commander Pakistan Fleet, Rear Admiral Abdul Munib, witnessed the firing exercise at sea onboard a Pakistan Navy fleet unit. He lauded the officers and sailors involved for their professionalism, precision and dedication during the complex operation.
Rear Admiral Munib reiterated the Pakistan Navy’s unwavering commitment to ensuring the seaward defence of the country and safeguarding national maritime interests under all circumstances.
The live firing exercise is part of the Pakistan Navy’s ongoing efforts to maintain high levels of preparedness and to validate the effectiveness of its weapons systems amid evolving regional security challenges.
