The two influencers appeared before the court under tight security, accompanied by their legal counsel. The hearing was conducted by Additional District and Sessions Judge Mansoor Ahmed.
During the proceedings, counsel for the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) informed the court that the investigating officer was busy in proceedings at the Lahore High Court and sought additional time to submit the case record.
Accepting the request, the court extended the pre-arrest bail of Rajab Butt and Nadeem Mubarak until January 26 and directed the NCCIA to present the complete investigation record at the next hearing. After marking their attendance, the court allowed both accused to leave.
The case relates to allegations of promoting online gambling platforms through social media. In September 2025, the NCCIA registered a case against Rajab Butt for allegedly advertising gambling applications via YouTube and TikTok videos, as well as Instagram stories. Nadeem Mubarak was also booked in a similar case and was arrested during the same period.
