Karachi: Sindh Master Plan Authority (SMPA) has issued an official communication confirming that the commercial status of several plots in North Nazimabad has been withdrawn, reverting them to residential use.

According to the letter sent to the Land Management Department of Karachi Development Authority (KDA), records were reviewed and the current status of the subject plots has been formally clarified.
Affected Plots
The plots mentioned in the communication include:
Plot No. D-11, Block A
Plot Nos. D-10 and D-25 (Amalgamated), Block A
Plot No. E-32, Block F
Plot No. F-71, Block B
Plot No. D-15, Block A
Background
The document states that No Objection Certificates (NOCs) for change of land use from residential to commercial had previously been issued for these plots on different dates.
However, the lessor, Karachi Development Authority, has cancelled/withdrawn all such administrative approvals and NOCs on January 29, 2026.
