According to an official notice issued by the US Department of War, the firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract covers support for the F-16 System Program Office as well as Air Force and Navy requirements. The agreement includes engineering and technical services for APG-66 and APG-68 radar systems.
Work under the contract will be carried out in Linthicum Heights, Maryland, and is scheduled to continue through March 31, 2036. The US Air Force said the contract was awarded on a sole-source basis, with initial funding of approximately $2.64 million already obligated from fiscal 2026 Air Force and Navy budgets.
Countries included in the Foreign Military Sales programme under this contract include Bahrain, Belgium, Chile, Denmark, Egypt, Greece, Indonesia, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, South Korea, Morocco, the Netherlands, Norway, Oman, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Thailand and Türkiye.
The Air Force Lifecycle Management Centre at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is overseeing the contract.
The development follows Washington’s earlier approval in December 2025 of a separate $686 million package for Pakistan’s F-16 fleet, which included avionics upgrades, Link-16 data systems, cryptographic equipment, training, and logistical support.
That earlier approval stated the upgrades aim to enhance interoperability with US and partner forces, particularly for counterterrorism cooperation, while modernising Pakistan’s Block-52 and Mid-Life Upgrade F-16 aircraft.
