Gold and silver prices recorded a significant increase in Pakistan on Tuesday, following gains in international bullion markets.

According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs2,830 per tola. As a result, the new rate reached Rs455,063 per tola.
The price of 10 grams of gold also increased by Rs2,547, taking it to Rs389,534.
Meanwhile, silver prices moved higher in the domestic market. The price of silver per tola gained Rs141 and settled at Rs7,314.
The latest increase came a day after precious metals posted losses in Pakistan. On Monday, gold prices declined in line with a downward trend in international markets.
During the previous trading session, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs3,094 to Rs452,233. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold fell by Rs2,785 to Rs386,987.
Silver also recorded losses on Monday. The per tola price decreased by Rs94 to Rs7,173, while 10 grams of silver stood at Rs6,116.
Market analysts said fluctuations in international bullion prices continue to influence local gold and silver rates. Investors are also closely monitoring global economic developments and commodity market trends.
