According to the ministry’s spokesperson, authorities continue to accelerate efforts to fully digitise Hajj arrangements under the government’s broader digital agenda. Through the online Hajj portal and the ‘Pak Hajj’ mobile app, applicants can now complete registration quickly and remotely. As a result, pilgrims no longer need to visit offices to begin the process. Public response to the system has remained positive. Many users have described the initiative as a step towards greater transparency, convenience and modern public services. Meanwhile, the government is also expanding digital payment services for Hajj. Following registration, authorities have entered the final phase of integrating Hajj dues into the online system. Under the plan, pilgrims will pay their Hajj dues directly through the portal or the ‘Pak Hajj’ mobile application. In addition, the ministry plans to introduce a modern payment collection system through One Link. Therefore, applicants will not need to visit banks or government offices. Instead, they will complete the full process digitally. Officials said the system will allow users to move from registration to payment in a few steps. Experts also believe the digital model will benefit overseas Pakistanis. They will be able to register, track applications and submit payments from anywhere in the world. Furthermore, the ministry has added new features to the online platform and mobile application. Applicants can now check registration details, application status and other important information with a single click.
