President Zardari extended condolences to the bereaved families and recognised the sacrifices of the two officers.
He said the nation would remember the courage and dedication of those who gave their lives in defence of the country.
The president also prayed for the elevation of the martyrs’ ranks in Jannah.
In addition, he prayed for patience and strength for their families during this difficult time.
Prime Minister Pays Tribute
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif also expressed condolences to the families of the deceased officers.
He praised the professionalism and commitment of Pakistan’s armed forces in carrying out national responsibilities.
Moreover, the prime minister honoured the services of the martyrs and expressed solidarity with their families.
The incident occurred during a training mission near Mardan.
Authorities have not released further details about the circumstances of the crash.
