Summer Camp 2026 participants attended an interactive session with Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry, who discussed Pakistan’s national security, terrorism and emerging challenges facing the country. The students represent more than 18 cities from across Pakistan. During the session, Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry spoke about Pakistan’s internal and external security environment. He also addressed the challenges posed by terrorism and emphasised the importance of national awareness among young people. ISPR said participants also received a briefing on what it described as the role of Fitna al-Hindustan and Fitna al-Khawarij in terrorist activities in Balochistan. Students said the session helped them better understand Pakistan’s security challenges and the importance of remaining informed about national issues. Participants also highlighted the growing impact of misinformation and propaganda in the digital age. They stressed the need to promote accurate information and public awareness to counter false narratives. The students expressed their resolve to support Pakistan’s armed forces in efforts to combat terrorism and safeguard national security. According to ISPR, Summer Camp 2026 aims to strengthen national awareness among young people while helping them develop leadership skills, confidence and a deeper understanding of issues affecting the country.
