FC Barcelona are on the verge of securing back-to-back La Liga titles as they prepare to host arch-rivals Real Madrid in a decisive Clasico clash on Sunday.

Barcelona, managed by Hansi Flick, lead the league standings by 11 points and require only a draw to confirm the championship. A victory, however, would not only seal the title in style but also keep them on course to match historic league records.
If Barcelona win their remaining four matches, they could equal the 100-point La Liga record previously achieved by Real Madrid under Jose Mourinho during the 2011-12 season.
The Catalan side have already recorded 29 league victories this season and could break the all-time record of 32 wins in a single campaign. They are also aiming to become the first team to win every home match in a 38-game La Liga season.
Barcelona will, however, be without teenage sensation Lamine Yamal, who is sidelined with a hamstring injury. Brazilian winger Raphinha has returned from injury but remains short of full match fitness.
Defender Jules Kounde said the squad remains highly motivated ahead of the Clasico. “We can win La Liga with a draw, but a win would be the best,” he stated.
Meanwhile, Real Madrid enter the match under pressure following a difficult season and reports of internal tensions within the squad under coach Alvaro Arbeloa.
Madrid are also monitoring the fitness of star striker Kylian Mbappe, while Brazilian forward Vinicius Junior is expected to play a key attacking role.
The highly anticipated Clasico will take place at the partially renovated Camp Nou, marking the first meeting between the two rivals at the stadium in over three years.
