KARACHI: The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) organised a Black Day rally in Karachi’s District Central on Sunday, with hundreds of party leaders, workers and supporters taking part in the procession. The rally began at Five Star Chowrangi and concluded at the Matric Board Office. Participants carried PPP flags and chanted slogans in support of the party throughout the march. PPP leaders Raza Haroon, Sardar Khan, Shehzad Majeed, Tauqeer Ahmed and Asad Hanif attended the rally, while Senator Masroor Ahsan participated as the chief guest. He said Bhutto’s ideology continued to inspire people despite the passage of time. Haroon urged residents of District Central to support the PPP’s “Arrow” election symbol, saying it would contribute to the country’s progress and Karachi’s development. He also expressed confidence that the party would form the next government in Karachi and called on citizens to unite for the city’s future. He appealed to the public to support PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, saying his leadership was focused on bringing further development to Karachi.
