Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said the party will form the next government in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK), as he launched an election campaign push during a public rally in Kotli. He said PPP workers and elected representatives remained part of the party family and supported each other during both difficult periods and moments of success. Recalling the challenges faced by the party during former prime minister Benazir Bhutto’s exile, Bilawal said PPP leadership spent years away from Pakistan but workers continued to show loyalty and commitment. He also praised senior party leader Chaudhry Yasin for standing with the PPP and the Bhutto family during challenging times. Bilawal expressed confidence in the party’s performance in the upcoming AJK elections and said the PPP would work to win maximum seats, including all constituencies in Kotli. He urged party workers to actively participate in the election campaign and secure stronger results than the previous polls. The PPP chairman claimed that his party had remained part of the Azad Kashmir government for the past six months and had delivered positive results during its previous political tenure. Bilawal reiterated the PPP’s commitment to the Kashmir cause, saying the party’s connection with the people of Kashmir has continued for three generations. He added that the PPP has consistently raised the Kashmir issue at international platforms and will continue supporting the voices and aspirations of the Kashmiri people.
