Hajj Registration has received a strong response in Pakistan, with more than 340,000 people completing the online process for the 2027-2030 period, according to the Ministry of Religious Affairs. The ministry said 246,000 applicants selected the government Hajj scheme, while 94,000 registered through the private Hajj scheme. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa recorded 51,000 registrations, while Islamabad reported 15,000 applicants. The ministry said 12,000 people registered from Balochistan, 2,600 from Azad Jammu and Kashmir and 1,200 from Gilgit-Baltistan. A spokesperson for the Ministry of Religious Affairs said officials will soon announce details about the online payment process for Hajj dues. Registered applicants have been advised to use the Pak Hajj application or contact official Hajj helplines for guidance and updates. The ministry also asked applicants to submit accurate information during registration. Officials advised families applying as groups to include only immediate relatives to prevent difficulties during the later stages of the process.
