Khvicha Kvaratskhelia and Ousmane Dembele starred for PSG, scoring twice each in an end-to-end contest at Parc des Princes.
Harry Kane opened the scoring for Bayern from the penalty spot before Kvaratskhelia equalised. Joao Neves then put PSG ahead, only for Michael Olise to level the score again. Dembele restored PSG’s lead with a penalty just before halftime.
After the break, Kvaratskhelia and Dembele struck again to give the French champions a commanding advantage. However, Bayern responded through Dayot Upamecano and Luis Diaz to keep the tie alive.
The pulsating encounter leaves the semi-final finely balanced ahead of the return leg at Allianz Arena next week, with a place in the final in Budapest at stake.
PSG, the reigning champions, are aiming to retain their title, while Bayern are chasing their first Champions League final appearance since 2020.
