Citizens across Pakistan celebrated the first anniversary of the victory in Marka-e-Haq, commemorating what officials and participants described as a historic response to the conflict imposed on the country on May 8, 2025.

From Karachi to Khyber, and from Kashmir to Gwadar, rallies, ceremonies, seminars, musical events, candlelight vigils and fireworks displays were organised to honour the armed forces and mark the success of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos.
Participants in the celebrations praised the Pakistan Armed Forces for their role in the operation, describing Marka-e-Haq as a symbol of national unity, military strength and strategic capability. Citizens expressed gratitude to the military for defending the country and highlighted the operation as a milestone in Pakistan’s history.
In Lahore, an enthusiastic bicycle rally was organised under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner Ali Ijaz. A large number of citizens participated, chanting slogans in support of Operation Bunyanum Marsoos and the armed forces.
In Nankana Sahib, a musical concert, fireworks display and cake-cutting ceremony were held at Allama Iqbal Park, where families, youth and children gathered to celebrate the occasion and pay tribute to the military.
Similar events took place in Khushab, Mirpur and Rawalpindi, where rallies, flag-hoisting ceremonies and special prayers were organised for the country’s security and stability.
Rallies and public gatherings were also held in multiple cities, including Gujar Khan, Wazirabad, Okara, Lodhran, Vehari, Shikarpur, Mianwali, Pakpattan, Bahawalnagar, Rahim Yar Khan, Chaman and Karak. Participants carried national flags, raised slogans in favour of the Pakistan Army and paid tribute to martyrs.
In Balochistan, rallies and seminars were organised under the leadership of provincial leaders, with participants expressing solidarity with the armed forces and celebrating the anniversary of the operation.
The nationwide events reflected public enthusiasm and commemorated what organisers described as Pakistan’s successful defence and military response during the 2025 conflict.
